In response to numerous requests the Organizing Committee of the 5th International Workshop on PSM decided to open sessions for scientific contributions. Authors whose abstracts are accepted for oral presentations will give their talk on December 6th. Presenting authors are allotted 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. Authors whose abstracts are accepted for poster presentation will display their posters from December 4 to December 6 at 12.00 a.m. and are requested to present their research during the designated Poster Session.
Obviously the time available for this activity during the meeting will be limited as the major part of the efforts will be allocated to the attainment of the consensus. Thus only few abstracts will be selected for the oral presentation.
The target audience includes medical, surgical and gynecologic oncologists, anesthesists, biologists, pathologists, nurses and perfusionists involved in the field of peritoneal surface malignancies treatment. The abstract receipt deadline for electronic submission will be October 31, 2006 12:00 p.m. There is no fee for electronic abstract submissions. Notification of the Scientific Commettee’s decision will be made in the beginning of November 2006. Submission of an abstract does not constitute registration for the meeting. Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to register for the meeting and pay the meeting registration fee within November 15, 2006.
